A solo consultant can now operate like a five-person team. Three releases landed this week that make it real.
Claude's entire growth marketing operation reportedly runs with one person managing all campaigns. What used to take 10 people before AI. That ratio is coming for every consultancy and small team in Australia.
I tested all three tools. Here's what actually matters.

🔥 What Dropped This Week
1. Claude Skills 2.0 — Your IP, on repeat
Anthropic updated how Claude handles repeatable work. The short version: you can now turn the way you work — your proposal structure, your client onboarding, your reporting format — into a tested, version-controlled process that runs identically every time.
New in Skills 2.0:
Eval scripts — test your workflows before deploying. No more "it worked yesterday."
A/B testing — compare versions of your process side by side with actual benchmarks.
Skill registry — share your workflows across your team, version-controlled.
What this means for you: That proposal template you tweak every time? Codify it once. Test it. Share it with your team. It runs the same whether you write it or your junior does.
No more "how does [name] write these?" — it's documented, tested, and repeatable.
Before | After Skills 2.0 |
|---|---|
Prompt from scratch every time | Tested workflow runs identically |
"How does Huxley write these?" | Codified. Anyone on the team can run it |
Hope it works | Eval scripts confirm it works |
Tribal knowledge | Shared skill registry |
2. Replit Agent 4 — Not just apps anymore
Replit raised $400M this week and launched Agent 4. 50 million people now use the platform. But the headline isn't the funding.
Agent 4 treats software development as creative work. And "software" now means a lot more than apps:
Web and mobile apps — describe what you need, Agent 4 builds and deploys it.
Slide decks and presentations — generated from your project context, not a blank template.
Animated videos — motion graphics created from code in the same workspace.
Landing pages and marketing sites — built alongside your product, sharing the same design.
All from one project. Same context. Same design system. One-click publish.
What this means for you: Client needs a pitch deck, a landing page, AND a demo video for an investor meeting? Build all three in the same afternoon, from the same brief. They'll look like they came from the same team — because they did.
This isn't "learn to code." It's "describe what you need and iterate visually." Replit calls it vibe coding. Whatever you call it, the build-versus-buy decision just flipped.

3. Fireflies + Claude — The memory layer your business is missing
This one's less flashy but might save you the most time.
Fireflies now connects directly to Claude. Not export-and-paste. A native integration.
Every client call auto-transcribed. Summarised. Action items extracted. And piped straight into Claude, where it becomes part of your working memory for that client.
Ask Claude "What did Sarah say about Q3 budget?" and get the answer. Not a 47-minute recording you'll never rewatch.
Meeting follow-up time: 60 minutes → 5 minutes.
Most consultants lose a third of client intelligence to "I'll remember that." You won't remember. This does.

🔧 How the Stack Actually Connects (Copy This Workflow)
This is the bit most newsletters skip. Here's how these three tools actually work together:
Step 1: Run your client meeting with Fireflies recording. It transcribes and summarises automatically.
Step 2: Fireflies sends the transcript and action items directly to Claude via the native connector. Claude now has full context on what was discussed.
Step 3: In Claude, use a Project (or Skill) for that client. Ask it to draft the follow-up email, update the proposal, pull out the key decisions, or build the next deliverable — all with the meeting context already loaded.
Step 4: Need something built? Dump your Claude brainstorming — the brief, the requirements, the content — straight into Replit. Describe what you want. Agent 4 builds the app, the deck, or the landing page.
Step 5: Review, edit, ship.
The loop: Fireflies captures → Claude thinks → Replit builds → You review.
One person. The output of a team.

🇦🇺 What's Happening Locally
20 member businesses in the Academy. Patterns emerging:
The ones winning treat AI as an operating system, not a tool they open sometimes.
The ones struggling are still prompting from scratch every session. (Skills 2.0 fixes that.)
Almost nobody has a formal AI vendor risk assessment. Template coming soon.
Tourism Noosa business panel feedback just came in. Testimonials hitting the website this week.
🎯 Your 3-Step Action Plan
Set up a Claude Project for your biggest client. Drop in their brief, past proposals, meeting notes. Next time you need to draft something for them, Claude already has the context. Takes 10 minutes.
Sign up for Fireflies free tier and record your next meeting. See the transcript. See the summary. See the action items. Then decide if it's worth connecting to Claude. (It will be.)
Open Replit and describe something you need. A simple landing page. A calculator for clients. A slide deck for a pitch. Don't code — just describe. See what comes out. Free tier works.
